What The Capital Ledger is
The Capital Ledger™ is a one-page map, published every week, that puts price and money side by side. It shows where investors are actually moving their money across the major asset classes (stocks, bonds, cash, precious metals, commodities and real estate) and across the sectors of the U.S. market, and whether that money agrees with what prices are doing. Every reading sits in one of four zones: Rising, Cresting, Falling or Turning.
Why it is different
Most of what you hear about markets is price. Price tells you what happened. It does not tell you whether real money is behind it. The Capital Ledger puts the two in one view, every week, each against a standard yardstick: the S&P 500 for the sectors, a sixty-forty portfolio for the whole market. It is a record of what investors did, not a forecast, and never a buy or sell signal. Boris Blum built it himself, and it is his own proprietary work. You will not find it anywhere else.
